Term time individual skills-based football program for 2021

Our Manly Allambie Academy program aims to provide a high-quality coaching environment which is fun, engaging and helps young, local children develop their skills both on and off the pitch.


This program is ideal for….

Manly Allambie players aged from 7 to 14 who wish to learn and participate in a high quality, fun, local football environment.


What does the program include?

10-week skills program (in addition to normal team training), with a focus on developing individual skills to develop and engage the player.

Each session is capped at 12 players to ensure there will be lots of individual focus, and all sessions will be run by Head of Academy – Phil Myall.

Phil Myall


Phil is an FFA/AFC "A" licensed coach and an FFA/AFC accredited "C" Licence coach educator.

Phil has a BSc Sports Coaching Science degree. His coaching roles have included working across all levels and age groups including Southampton FC and Watford FC, and recently head coach of the NSW U14s at the National Youth Championships (2019).

Currently working with talented youth players, in the ‘Football NSW - Talent Support Program’

As an FFA/FNSW Advanced Coach Educator, Phil presents "C" licenses to coaches all across NSW, including in Manly Warringah.

Phil aims to develop the skills and football intelligence of young players, so they can stand out from the crowd with the hope that will be able to represent Australia in the future.


How much does the program cost?

The cost is based on $15 per session, payable upon accepting a place at the start of each term.

Pricing $15 x 10 weeks = $150.

There will be a one-off registration fee of $50 per player which will cover cost of kit – training shirt, shorts and socks.

*Terms will normally be 10 weeks but this can vary

How does Manly Allambie Academy work?

All sessions are planned to incorporate the 4 core skills. Each core skill will be given a focus so that every participant will be practicing these skills in a wide variety of situations. They can take these skills back to their team environment.
